My 9 month old is forever "dropping" her pacifier (the same way she likes to "drop" everything else- so that Mommy can pick it up!). She refuses any other type of pacifier other than soothies, which are rubber and round. Needless to say, when a little critter has "dropped" her soothie half a dozen times in Walmart and watched it bounce and then roll all over the floor, I finally give up on the idea of ever getting it clean again and pack it back in the diaper bag. This little clip worked like a charm and it's the first one I've come across that works with a soothie. The rubber beads are so soft (and super cute!), not to mention perfect for teething. I can't say enough good things about this clip/teether! Perfect for my little stinker!!

I really like this but the baby was a bit tricky with it. The design is adorable. The beads are smooth and seem well attached and she does occasionally like chewing them. I thought the method of attachment was ingenious. I love the way the little ribbon can be made to fit lots of different designs, I was even able to thread it through a Doctor Brown's watermelon teether she likes.

However, my 8 month old was a bit too handsy with it. It took her about an hour and she figured out how to get this off (you bend the attachment one way to open and straighten it to close). At first I thought it was a fluke but she has opened it every time I've put it on her. Probably would not be an issue with a younger baby or one less prone to fiddle but then again a younger baby wouldn't need a chewable strap.

I also felt the strap was a bit long, my baby is 95th percentile for height and it still hangs from shoulder to just past her waist.

I edited this review to increase the star rating however because of the AMAZING customer service offered by JEsentials. As soon as I offered my opinions they reached out to see what they could do to make it right and to me that makes a product worth trying.

This pacifier clip is amazing. I had randomly stumbled on this one day while looking at baby items on Amazon and was intrigued. I bought it since my 3 month old at the time was starting to gnaw on everything. I was a little nervous that I just bought a fancy pacifier clip and wasn't sure if she'd take to it. Well, I didn't need to be worried. She loves it! She's almost 5 months now and spends her days happily massaging her gums with the beads and the flower. The teachers at her daycare tell me she has it in her mouth constantly. Plus, it's adorable! I'm constantly telling people about it anf am constantly getting compliments. I had liked the idea of the silicone necklaces for teething but really dislike the idea of my baby chewing on something I'm supposed to wear in fear that she won't be able to separate what's for her and what's true jewelry for me. This was a great compromise.

My baby girl loves this thing. It's actuallt become kind of a security blanket for her when she's in the car seat. She honestly doesn't care for her pacifier anymore (6 months) but she just likes chewing on the flower and holding onto it. The white clasp that closes makes me a little nervous though when it isn't attached to something. My daughter likes to stick it in her mouth and I get nervous that it will snap down on her lips or tongue, but as long as it is attached to something I don't worry about it. I just throw it in our dishwasher every so often to wash it.

My daughter likes the fact she can chew on it however because the part that connects to pacifier is silk and it gets very wet. Even after cleaning it produces a really nasty smell and it is becoming unbearable. My daughter is a heavy drooler so it gets very wet and stinks. I'll be getting rid of item because of this. However I am upset because it cost over $10 and we used it less than 2 weeks. If it was connected with rubber it would be much better and I would have gave it a 5 across the board.

This synthetic little teether was just an alternative so I won't be too harsh on the quality and the chemical components as the seller/manufacturer does not try to pass it for something it is not. Another issue is that the presentation of this product costs you half of its price and the country of its origin does little to reassure an anxios parent.
As to its function: it's soft, Baby likes it, chews every bit of it, plastic and the band including, which means you must cut off the clip as otherwise it might trap your childs tongue or lips - it opens by applying pressure to its base. The chains is to short, as many reviewers would notice and is not safe or functional is used as intended.
Cannot really recommend for the price.
